We stopped to assist a stalled motorist - 60's-ish Volkswagen that didn't have any spark - and there was a train heading south long the base of the foothills

It saw several +4 readings and maybe -0.5 a few times
At +3.5 to 4 I could hold my arms out but I could not lift a foot from the floorboard. The seating position had the legs extended straight out.
Our ride up
If I recall correctly - tow to 10K feet, work the sky from 10K down to 7K then head back to the airport. Airport is about 5K feet elevation.
The landing was slick - on the western end of the runway was a lake. The pilot skimmed down to the water then hopped just over the weeds between the water and the runway and smoothly skimmed onto the asphalt.
