| With
no hard set plans, but a thought to have a first visit to Bryce
National Park, we'll point south to the park. |

| The
incline from mile 11 to mile 22 is curious. That's a large jump. I
don't recall it - something to visit again should I be in the area
again. |

| Lush green and intense blue - void of traffic. |

| Osiris Creamery and Granary Osiris Utah |

| A couple unusual
vehicles in the parking lot near the park. An old Skylark and a utility
truck often associated with Japan / Asia |

| ...and something unexpected from the jeep -
coolant on the ground. Now the process - where is it coming from, can it be repaired roadside, can I drive back to home on it or will it require attention before it can be driven? I'll leave it in the parking lot and will hop on a park shuttle to some of the lookout spots. |

| Out of the park, headed west to Panguitch for
a hotel. There are two arches on highway 12 as it heads down Red Canyon
- a memorable stretch of highay. |

| Panguitch motel - another older car. |

| `walked a couple blocks for supper - leaving
to walk back - night life in these parts... |

| The
radiator has a small leak - but it does not always pass fluid. I'm
thinking - is there a chance I could seal it with some epoxy? |

| I'm going to give it a try - clean the
surface, rough it up, some screen for epoxy reinforcement. In the end -
patching failed. |
