1 for the trip - drive from Fort Collins to camp - Down on the Hop
Farm. The group is to gather this afternoon / evening to be ready as a
group tomorrow morning. |
| Southbound
on I-25 approaching Denver. On a clear day, Pike's Peak can be seen.
With the forest fire haze - not a change to see it today. |
| Looking clear up near the Eisenhower-Johnson
Tunnels |
| Near Dotsero - looking thick. |
| Glenwood Canyon - not too often am I rolling through with a
train. |
| West of Glenwood Springs - haze is quite thick. |
| Out
of the canyons, nearing Grand Junction. Fortunately the air looks
clear. We hope to have clear air for crisp views of the beautiful
mountain scenery. |
